Long before she became known as Buffy's nemesis on the hit TV series Buffy the Vampire Slayer, Eliza Dushku was turning heads in Hollywood. Starting with an outstanding breakthrough role in the critically acclaimed but publicly ignored film That Night and later in films like True Lies and Bye Bye Love, Eliza soon built a career of impressive performances. But it wasn't until the age of 17, when she landed the small role of Faith on Buffy, that Eliza gained national attention. The small role became a recurring one and eventually led to a series of guest appearances on the Buffy spin-off, Angel. Eliza was catapulted into the mainstream last year when she co-starred with Kirsten Dunst in the cheerleading movie Bring It On. Since that time, she's completed City by the Sea with Robert De Niro and The New Guy with Lyle Lovett and DJ Qualls. You can catch Eliza on the big screen in May in the Wes Craven horror film Soul Survivors, co-starring Wes Bentley. Eliza is currently in L.A. filming Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back, the final in a series of films by writer/director Kevin Smith. She's expected to follow that up with a Francis Ford Coppola film called Taking on the Neighborhood. Keep checking the Eliza Dushku Casting News page to follow this promising young actress's career.
