'Buffy' co-star in running for 'Wonder Woman'?
By JAM! Movies

Sandra Bullock, "Xena: Warrior Princess" star Lucy Lawless, WWF Amazon Chyna, and "Buffy The Vampire Slayer's" Eliza Dushku are all reportedly vying to star in a big-screen version of "Wonder Woman."

Popcorn.co.uk reports that Dushku, who made her movie debut opposite Arnold Schwarzenegger in "True Lies," is the latest name to surface in connection with the "Wonder Woman" film, which is being produced by Joel Silver ("The Matrix") and Leonard Goldberg ("Charlie's Angels").

Dushku, who is 21, would have the teen appeal that would be perfect for the film's likely teenage audience, but the box-office clout Bullock still commands would make her a front-runner for the project, even though action movies haven't been high on her priority list since her breakthrough performance in "Speed."

Popcorn quoted Goldberg as saying that he had spoken to Bullock about the project, and the producer said "it all depends on the script and director ... she hasn't done anything this physical in a long time, and she'd like to. We'd love to have her."

The site also quoted Bullock as saying she would only do the project if it was radically reimagined from the campy '70s TV series, which starred Lynda Carter, and if Wonder Woman's corset-like red, white and blue uniform was redesigned.
